On 04 February 2017, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) welcomed professors and a group of 24 students from Soon Chun Hyang University (SCH) - Korea to join in a 5-day culture exchange program, which was designed for students from both universities to learn more about different cultures and to make new friends as well.
The program started with a series of excellent performances by students of the two universities in the Opening Ceremony. During the program, TDTU’s students eagerly took part in K-Pop, K-Craft arts and K-Tradition classes, with guidance of SCH’s students. Also, TDTU’s students shared Vietnamese culture and instructed their new Korean friends about Vietnamese Martial arts, which was a great experience to them. Especially, the forum on “Multiculturalism” on January 06 was such an informative platform for participants to gather together and share their ideas on the topic.
The culture exchange program ended but long lasting relationship has been opened. To all participants, the great time they had together is unforgettable and helpful for their future as global citizens.
Let's have a look at their activities throughout the program to see the reason why they were attracted a lot.
